I am a Blackboard Administrator. Faculty report that they can view SoftChalk activities fine on their local computer. When they publish (or upload) the activities to Blackboard, blank boxes appear. What should I do?
Add the following three files to your http-cacheable extensions file and restart Blackboard:
.xml
.swf
.flv
If you update Blackboard, you may need to repeat the procedure above.
The issue [blank boxes appear for the activities when viewing the lesson in IE 7 and IE8] occurs on https servers. (The activities appear fine in Firefox and IE 9.) Blackboard resolved this issue in Bb 9.1 SP6 Service Pack 6.
