When I tried to download the installer, it took a long time. Now when I click on the installer, I get an error message "Installer integrity check has failed." What should I do?


Typically downloading the SoftChalk installer from our website takes from two to five minutes. (You should save your installer to your local computer before running it.)

If downloading the installer takes a long time (15 minutes or more), you may get the error message below:

ERROR Message when clicking on the Installer:

Installer integrity check has failed. Common causes includeincomplete download and damaged media. Contact theinstaller's author to obtain a new copy.

If you get this message, you want to try downloading again. (If you are working from home, you may want to move your laptop closer to your router.)

If you still have trouble downloading the installer, we recommend that you try downloading the installer from a faster internet connection. For instance, if you want to install on your home computer and you can't download the installer, then download the installer at work. Copy the installer to a flash or thumb drive and then put the installer on your home computer.

If you have a fast internet connection and you get the error message above - Installer integrity check has failed - you may need to clear the cache for your browser. The following website has an excellent explanation on how to clear your web browser's cache, cookies and history.

After clearing your cache, exit your browser and try installing SoftChalk again. If you are still having trouble installing SoftChalk and getting the Installer integrity check has failed message, re-boot your computer and try to download again.
