When should I use Create Online vs. SoftChalk Create?
Using Create Online is a great way to make basic lesson edits directly in your browser because it is quick and simple. If you want to build or edit interactives, however, you will need to use SoftChalk Create.

- copy / paste text
- check spelling / use thesaurus
- insert / edit bookmarks
- build / edit a table
- insert horizontal rule or smiley icon
- insert special characters
- insert or remove page breaks

Use SoftChalk Create to…
- add build QuizPoppers, Text Poppers, Quiz Groups or Activities
- insert a SoftChalk Cloud item.
- insert widgets
- upload an image (rather than link to it)
- add media to your lesson
- add math characters or equations
- build, apply or edit a style properties
- add Google Analytics to your lesson
- use the ReadSpeaker feature in your lesson (you'll need to purchase a ReadSpeaker account)
- search for media
- set up sidebars or page names
- change the output language
- edit metadata for your lesson
