When I try to enter my license key, I get the message, "My name is missing the first dash." What should I do?

You must enter the license name and license key exactly as issued. (If you type your own name into the license name field, the license key will not work.) We recommend copying and pasting the license information provided by SoftChalk. Be sure to delete any beginning or trailing spaces.

SoftChalk license keys have two parts: a license name and a license key. Most license keys have a name that begins with one of the following items. Be sure to include this initial text when entering the name.

For Version 5 and later users, be sure to complete the User Information (first name, last name, phone and email) as well.
