DragNDrop Activity

With the DragNDrop Activity, students drag items in a list to match with their
corresponding item.

This is a text to text matching activity. See an online example.

Things to know

Activity title:

Up to 35 characters look best (50 max)

Activity instruction:

Up to 50 characters look best (500 max)

Number of activity cards:

Up to 12 cards can be created (2 minimum).

A vertical scrollbar is available to the learner in the left column after 5 cards.

Character limits:

Unlimited text can be added to the cards.

Up to 85 characters fit the left card comfortably without needing magnification.

Up to 250 characters fit the right card comfortably without needing magnification.

Learners will click on the magnifying glass icon to view an enlarged view of the card text.

The user can scroll to view the card text.

  1. Place the most text on the right card.

  2. Learners will click on the magnifying glass icon to view an enlarged view of the card text.
    The user can scroll to view all of the text, if needed.

  3. Use the Import feature to quickly create your activity.

  • Activity Title

  • Activity Instructions

  • Activity Keyboard Command List

  • Card text

Create an DragNDrop Activity

  1. Click the icon and enter a text
    matching pair.
    Or Import a text list (optional).
    I want to use the Import/Export feature. What activities allow Import/Export? How do I create a list? How do I Import/Export a list?

  2. Repeat step 1 until all matching text
    pairs have been created.
    Click on the trash can next to the
    matched pair to remove the
    item/match pair from the list.

  3. When finished creating each item/match pair, click OK.
    The DragNDrop Activity placeholder will appear in the lesson.

  4. Preview the lesson changes.
