With the DragNDrop Activity, students drag items in a list to match with their
corresponding item.

This is a text to text matching activity. See an online example.

Things to know

Activity title:

Up to 35 characters look best (50 max)

Activity instruction:

Up to 50 characters look best (500 max)

Number of activity cards:

Up to 12 cards can be created.

A scrollbar appears after 5 cards.

Character limits:

Unlimited text can be added to the cards.

Up to 85 characters fit the left card comfortably without needing magnification.

Up to 250 characters fit the right card comfortably without needing magnification.

Learners will click on the magnifying glass icon to view an enlarged view of the card text.

A scrollbar is available for the user to view all of the card text.

Create an DragNDrop Activity

Build the Activity

  1. Click the icon and enter a text
    matching pair (item and match, 2 to 12 pairs).
    Or Import a text list (optional).
    For instructions on importing and
    exporting text lists, see the section
    Import and Export Text Lists.

  2. Repeat step 1 until all matching text
    pairs have been created.
    Click on the Trash can next to the
    matched pair to remove the
    item/match pair from the list.

  3. Click OK to insert the activity into your lesson.

  4. When finished, click OK.
    The DragNDrop Activity placeholder will appear in the lesson.

  5. Preview the lesson changes.
