Since you cannot copy an image from Open Office and paste the image into SoftChalk, you can use the following method to transfer images:
- In OpenOffice writer, save the document as HTML (go to File/Save As and set the Type to html).
- Close OpenOffice.
- Double-click on the new file you created, which will have an .html extension. (This .html file will be a copy in addition to your original document.)
- Your .html file should open in a web browser.
- Select everything you see in the browser and choose File/Copy.
- Start SoftChalk Create and choose File/Paste.
There may be some small changes/losses in formatting but the images will be there.
