Your web browser needs to allow cookies from https://softchalkcloud.com.


Please either try a different web browser or follow the steps below to enable cookies in your current web browser using the directions below:

 Chrome

In the upper right corner of your browser, click the three vertical dots. Select Settings Advanced (link at the bottom) / Privacy area – Site Settings / Cookies – Add – For Add a site, enter [*.]softchalkcloud.com and Add

 Firefox

In the upper right corner of your browser, click the three horizontal lines. Click Options Privacy (at the left) / Cookies and Site Data area – Manage Permissions. Enter https://softchalkcloud.com. Click Allow. Click Save Changes.

 Internet Explorer

In the upper right corner of your browser, click the Gear icon / Internet Options. Click the Privacy tab at the top. Under Settings, click Sites. Enter https://softchalkcloud.com . Click Allow. Click OK.

 Safari

Step 1: Open the SoftChalk lesson in the browser. In the upper left corner of your browser, click Safari and select Preferences.  / Privacy Always Allow

Step 2: Enable cookies in Safari:

  1. In the Safari app  on your Mac, choose Safari > Settings, then click Privacy.

  2. Deselect “Block all cookies.”

    Websites, third parties, and advertisers can store cookies and other data on your Mac.

You may not have this option selected, as it is not the default for Safari. However, if the option ‘Block all cookies’ is checked, it will need to be de-selected.


Step 3: Cross-site tracking in Safari on Mac:

You will want to allow cross-site tracking in Safari when you are using it to access SoftChalk assignments.

Review the article above for screen captures and steps. However, Cross-site tracking is blocked by default and you will need to de-select that option in order to clear the message blocking your progress in Canvas.
