I already have content in SoftChalk Cloud that is public. How do I add a description to this content or change other Metadata?

It's easy to change your content's Metadata, for example, adding a description and saving your changes back to SoftChalk Cloud. For details see below.


Add a Description to a Lesson


  1. Log into your SoftChalk Cloud account.
  2. Go to My Content/Lessons and click on the lesson title link.
  3. Under Lesson Actions, click on Edit Lesson Properties.
  4. Under Privacy use the dropdown menu to select Personal, Public or No Access.
  5. Save the changes made to the lesson by clicking on Save Changes.


Add a Description to a SoftChalk Cloud Item


  1. Log into your SoftChalk Cloud account.
  2. Go to My Content/Lessons and click on the lesson title link.
  3. Under Lesson Actions, click on Edit Lesson Properties.
  4. Enter a Description. (This description will become part of the Metadata.)
  5. Save the changes made to the lesson by clicking on Save Changes.
