I am having a problem uploading my complex files (i.e. .zip file) using the Cloud My Content / Files / Upload Files feature. What should I do?


There are two possible reasons your .zip file will not upload:

  • Please try another web browser. There may be a restriction with your web browser uploading a .zip file.
  • Your .zip file was not zipped properly.  Please try one of the methods below.
    • Within your presentation software, zip your project.  (Often the option to zip would be found under a Publish menu of some kind.)
    • If you cannot figure out how to .zip your project within your presentation software, you can zip it by doing the following:
      1. From your desktop, find and open the folder containing your project, select all the files, right-click and choose Send to/Compressed Zip Folder.
      2. A .zip file will appear within this folder. You can drag this .zip file outside your folder onto your desktop, for instance.
      3. You may need to rename this file, but be sure to keep the .zip extension.
      4. This is the .zip file that you can upload to the Cloud. (DO NOT, right-click on the folder containing all your files and create a .zip file. If you do that, you'll get a folder within a folder and that .zip won't work.)
