I'm having trouble with media (e.g. .wmv files) playing in Firefox. What should I do?

You may need to install a plugin for Firefox.


STEPS

  1. Download the plugin.
  2. Verify the plugin is installed!  Type "about:plugins" in your address bar, you should see an entry for Microsoft Windows Media Player Firefox Plugin (File name: np-mswmp.dll)
  3. If your plugin, np-mswmp.dll is disabled please do the following:

Within Firfox click on Tools at the top of the screen / Add ons / Plugins/ Click on Microsoft Windows Media Player Firfox Plugin / Enable
