How do I create a lesson in a foreign language?

When editing your lesson in SoftChalk Create, choose Properties/Lesson Properties. Select a language from the drop-down list.For students looking at the lesson in a web browser, the navigation, instructions, sidebar headings, etc. will appear in the chosen output language. 

We currently have:

 

  • Arabic 

  • Chinese 

  • Dutch

  • English

  • Finnish 

  • French

  • German

  • Italian

  • Japanese

  • Portuguese

  • Russian

  • Spanish

 

The instructor must enter the content in the appropriate language within SoftChalk. (There is no automatic translation feature.) Within SoftChalk, you can insert foreign characters. (Choose Insert/Special Characters/Other.)  (The menus in the SoftChalk Create editing window for the instructor are in English.)
