How do I change what media player Firefox uses to view .mp3 files?

Firefox uses the defaults set by the operating system when determining what media player to use. To change your computer's default media player for .mp3 files, take the following actions:

STEPS

1. Locate a .mp3 file on your computer.
2. Right-Click on the file.
3. Click on Open with > Choose default program...
   • (in Windows XP, it is Open With > Choose Program...)
4. Select the program you would like to open the file with if it is shown, or Browse... for it.
5. Check Always use the selected program to open this kind of file.
6. Click OK.
