I'm using the QuickTime Player to play my media files with my web browser. Some of the media files won't play. What should I do?

You may need to set the MIME types for the QuickTime player.

STEPS

1. Open your QuickTime Player. (From your desktop, go to the Start menu and select All Programs/QuickTime/QuickTime Player.)

2. From the menu at the top left, select Edit/Preferences/QuickTime Preferences.

3. At the top, click the Browser tab.

4. At the bottom, click MIME Settings.

5. Click the + sign to expand your list such as the list for Video.

6. Select the file types you want to play such as AVI.

7. Click OK.

8. Click OK.
