How would I use the URL for Video Subtitles File feature for Media in my lesson?
The URL for Video Subtitles File field is a feature added to the Media tool for Enterprise SoftChalk Cloud customers but which is available to all SoftChalk authors.
That field allows an author to specify a URL where a caption file in the .vtt caption file format would be located.
If you or your institution use a third-party resource that generates a URL for video caption .vtt files, then you can include the hyperlink to the .vtt caption files for the video as well.
However, SoftChalk Cloud does not have the ability to host .vtt files at this time, and an author would need to rely on an off-site system to host and provide access to those caption files.
