I am an instructor. How can I add SoftChalk to Blackboard Ultra Learning Modules and track student progress using Teaching Tools with LTI?

You can group your SoftChalk lessons as a Learning Module in the Blackboard Ultra LMS.

Create the Learning Module

In your Blackboard Ultra course, click on the + icon
2. Select Create
3. Choose the Learning Module from the right menu.
4. Enter the Learning Module title. 5. Make the Learning Module ‘Visible to students’. 6. Click Save.
The Learning Module will be added to your Blackboard Ultra course.

Add SoftChalk LTI links to the Learning Module

Add SoftChalk LTI links to the Learning Module
In SoftChalk under the My Content>Lessons area, click on the lesson title. Copy the lesson LTI link.
3. In the Blackboard Ultra course, navigate to the Learning Module. 4. Click on the Learning Module title to expand. 5. Click on the + icon.
6. Choose Create from the menu.
7. Select the Teaching tools with LTI connection option from the right menu.
8. Enter a title for the assignment 9. Make the assignment Visible to students. 10. Paste the copied SoftChalk lesson LTI link in the Configuration URL field.
11. Enable the Create gradebook entry for this item option under the Grading section. 12. Then click Save.
Congratulations! The assignment is now located within the Learning Module.
