How do I create a lesson in a foreign language?

You can apply the language to your lesson using the desktop SoftChalk Create app. Unfortunately, this feature is not yet available in the Create Online editor.

When editing your lesson in SoftChalk Create, choose Properties/Lesson Properties. Select a language from the drop-down list.For students looking at the lesson in a web browser, the navigation, instructions, sidebar headings, etc. will appear in the chosen output language. 

We currently have:

• Arabic 

• Chinese 

• Dutch

• English

• Finnish 

• French

• German

• Italian

• Japanese

• Portuguese

• Russian

• Spanish

The instructor must enter the content in the appropriate language within SoftChalk. (There is no automatic translation feature.) (The menus in the SoftChalk Create editing window for the instructor are in English.)
