I am tracking lessons in my Cloud ScoreCenter. How do I test my Cloud ScoreCenter tracked lesson as a student?
If you have not already, create a Cloud ScoreCenter and track lessons in your SoftChalk Cloud account.
If you are testing out your own graded Cloud ScoreCenter linked lesson to confirm the grade book connectivity, there are a couple of things to be aware of as the Cloud account owner:
If you are logged into SoftChalk Cloud you will not be able to establish a connection to ScoreCenter.
In order to produce a valid test, you need to ensure that you have logged out of your Cloud account or use an incognito web browser.
The steps below demonstrates how to take a SoftChalk Cloud lesson hyperlink that is being in a Cloud ScoreCenter and make an attempt as as student. | ||
---|---|---|
1 | In your SoftChalk Cloud account, click on the name of the Cloud ScoreCenter tracked Lesson. | |
2 | Scroll below the preview window. Right-click on to the Hyperlink to select Copy. | |
3 | Open an incognito (private) web browser window. | |
4 | Paste the Hyperlink into a browser URL field. Click the ENTER key. | |
5 | You will see the Authentication window for the Cloud ScoreCenter. Review any instructions added to the Cloud ScoreCenter. | |
6 | If the same lesson is tracked in multiple Cloud ScoreCenters, select the appropriate ScoreCenter title from the drop-down menu. | |
7 | Enter a name as the user identifier or as noted in the Instructions area (if any). Depending on the Cloud ScoreCenter Authentication settings, you may need to enter a password or an IP address. See the Authentication options in the FAQ:

8 | If you have entered the expected Authentication credentials, click on the View Content button. | |
9 | Navigate through the lesson. Be sure to click the appropriate Check Answers, Finish and/or complete the Activity elements in the lesson. | |
10 | At the last page of the lesson, click the Finish button at the bottom of the page. This completes your attempt. |
