I found an item in the Share repository. Can I copy something I found in the SoftChalk Share repository into my account?

Yes! With your SoftChalk Cloud account, you have access to the content available in the SoftChalk Share repository.

You can copy an item directly into your own account. This creates a hyperlink that’s unique to your SoftChalk Cloud account - completely separate from the original content owner.

You can make changes to the Lesson, Learning Object, or File that’s been copied into your account.

1	Search and find a Lesson, Learning Object or File available in the SoftChalk Share repository.	Open
2	Click on the item title.	Open
3	The page will open to display a preview window of the content you found. You can also interact with the content here. Scroll below the page to view additional details.	Open
4	Choose the Copy Lesson to My Content option under the Learning Object Actions menu (or Lessons Actions, File Actions)	Open
5	The page will automatically refresh and display the My Content/Learning Objects area of your account (or Lessons or Files area) You’ll see the same Lesson title but with the word ‘Copy’ at the end. (For example: a copy of MyLesson would be called MyLesson Copy.)	Open

Congratulations! You have successfully copied the content found on the SoftChalk Share repository to your own SoftChalk Cloud account.

The copied lesson will have it’s own unique hyperlink. You can now modify the content copied into your SoftChalk Cloud account without affecting the original content.
