How can I add a Math Equation or Chemical Formula Equation in SoftChalk?
You have several options to incorporate an equation into your SoftChalk lesson. You can include any combination of options in one lesson.

Add an equation directly in your lesson page.
In Create Online, place your cursor in your SoftChalk lesson page where you want the equation to appear.
Choose either the Math Equation or Chemical Formula Equation menu from the Create Online toolbar.
3. Use the menu tools to create the equation and click OK.
The equation will appear in your SoftChalk page where your cursor was placed in Step 1. See the example below with multiple equations in the lesson page.
The Chemical Formula and Math Equation editors can be found in the right-click menu of Quiz Poppers ‘Instructions/Question’ (except Multiple Blanks and Sentence Completion) and in the ‘Feedback/Hint’ areas of a Quiz Popper.
You can also include equations within the ‘Answers’ area of the Feedback, Matching, Multiple Answer, Multiple Choice, and Ordering Quiz Popper questions using the right-click menu.
In Create Online, place your cursor in your SoftChalk lesson page where you want to insert the Quiz Popper.
Choose either the Quiz Popper or Quiz Group menu from the Create Online toolbar.
Add an equation to the ‘Quiz Instructions’ area using the right-click menu to display as users navigate through the Quiz Group questions.
3. In the ‘Instructions/Questions’, ‘Answers’, and/or ‘Feedback/Hint’ areas, place your cursor where you want to include the equation.
4. Use the Chemical Formula and Math Equation editors found in the right-click menu to add an equation.
4. Create the equation using the Math Equation or Chemical Formula menu. Click OK and the equation will appear in Quiz Popper.
5. Click OK after the required Quiz Popper fields have been created.
6. Save and Preview the lesson changes.

You can create an equation and save the equation to your SoftChalk Cloud account files area. Then reference the saved equation as a Cloud File in any activity that uses images. In Create Online, place your cursor in your SoftChalk lesson page where you want to insert the Activity.
Choose Activity icon from the Create Online toolbar.
Choose an activity: Connection, Flash Card, Hot Spot, Identify, Image Matching, Image Map, Labeling, Memory, Ordering, Pairs, Slideshow, Sorting, or Timeline Activity
When the Activity menu opens, click Select File and choose Cloud File Link Source.
See the Labeling Activity example below.If you are adding an equation you have already saved to your SoftChalk Cloud account, you will need to select the Cloud File tab and expand your folders to choose the equation stored in your account Files area.
Click OK.
Add the required Activity elements and click OK to add the Activity to your SoftChalk lesson.
Save and Preview the changes.

Provide additional information to users with a Tooltip. When the user hovers over a tooltip, a pop-up box displays additional information. You can include text, images, media, etc.. to add related details.
In Create Online, highlight text in your SoftChalk lesson where you want to the Tooltip with an equation to appear.
Choose the Tooltip feature from the Create Online toolbar.
Enter additional information in the Tooltip.
Right-click to use the Math Equation or Chemical Formula menu to add an equation. Click OK.
You can see the Tooltip applied to the highlighted word in the editor.
Save and Preview the lesson changes.
When the user hovers over the Tooltip, the information will appear in a popup window. See the example below.
