I want to assign Partial Credit to my Activity or QuizPopper. How is Partial Credit calculated?
Partial credit can be given if an Activity or Quiz Popper has more than one set of ‘question-answer’ options.
When creating the Activity or Quiz Popper, you identify the correct answer-choice in the ‘Answer’ tab to correspond to each ‘question’. Students will need to identify the same correct answer-choice in order to receive credit for each ‘question’.
Let’s use the Sentence Completion Quiz Popper as an example. Say the Quiz Popper asks only one question and the correct answer is ‘independent’. Students would need to enter ‘independent’ in order to receive credit. If the students entered ‘dependent’, then the answer is incorrect and they do not receive points for their answer-choice.
Let’s say the Sentence Completion was valued at 1 point and has two questions (2 blank fields for the student to enter a answer). If the student only matches one question with the expected correct answer-choice, then the student would receive a .5 score.
The partial credit calculation is that 1 incorrect response subtracts (total points/total # correct responses) from the students current score.
