My institution has a Learning Management System that is not listed. Can a SoftChalk lesson be loaded into my Learning Management System?
Yes. The easiest way to put SoftChalk content into your learning management system is with a hyperlink.
With a SoftChalk Cloud account, you can easily create lessons and save them to SoftChalk Cloud. Once you've saved a lesson to SoftChalk Cloud, you can add the hyperlink to your lesson to your learning management system. If you make a change to the content saved in your SoftChalk Cloud account, the change is also displayed in each linked location.
There are many advantages of linking to content within a SoftChalk Cloud account but you can also upload the lesson into your learning management system.

3. Click on Download Lesson under the Lesson Actions menu. | |
4. Within your Learning Management System, upload your .zip file. | |
5. Unpackage your .zip file. | |
6. Link to index.html within your resulting lesson folder. | |
You can have an e-mail scores button and/or print score buttons even with this type of lesson. See the Score Summary and Certificate of Completion sections in our SoftChalk Cloud Guide.
In order for the steps below to work, your LMS must allow uploading of SCORM content that can be linked to the gradebook for the LMS.

3. Click on Download Scorm Package under the Lesson Actions menu. | |
4. Select the Scoring Option. If you choose Single Attempt, skip to Step #6 below. | |
5. If you choose Mastery Score, use the drop-down menu to select the percentage the user must get correct in order to complete their attempt.

6. Click Create.

7. By default, the Scorm _sco.zip file will download to the web browser. Where you'll find the lesson .zip file just downloaded: | FireFox and Edge: Chrome: Safari: Open the Downloads Folder in Finder |
8. Within your Learning Management System, you will upload the _sco.zip Scorm file. Please see the appropriate SoftChalk LMS Integration guide for details to upload the Scorm file into your Learning Management System (LMS). | |
