What is the ScoreCenter feature in SoftChalk? Do you recommend that I use this feature rather than SCORM to collect scores from my students in the LMS Grade Center?

We highly recommend using the SoftChalk ScoreCenter feature.

The ScoreCenter feature allows you to collect reliable, detailed student scores in the LMS Grade Center.

With the ScoreCenter feature when students take a SoftChalk lesson, their scores will appear in the LMS Grade Center. The scoring works for both Windows and Macintosh users and on mobile devices.

With the ScoreCenter feature, you can:

• Set the number of times a student can access the lesson

• Set the score in the Grade Center to be the first score, the highest score, the average score or the last score for the lesson

• View detailed scoring information for each student attempt

• Revise the text in a ScoreCenter lesson.

Yes, we highly recommend that you use the ScoreCenter feature rather than SCORM to collect scores in the LMS Grade Center. (None of the above features are available with SCORM.)
