How do I add a Table of Contents to my lesson? What are other Sidebar options?

Show Table of Contents in Sidebar

  1. In the Create Online editor, click on the Properties icon in the toolbar.

2. Choose the Title & Layout menu item.

3. Toggle the Show TOC in Sidebar Navigation option ON.

4. Click OK

Other Sidebar Table of Contents options:

  1. In the Create Online editor, click on the Properties icon in the toolbar.

2. Choose the Sidebar menu item.

3. Toggle Sidebar options ON/OFF:

  • Display Sidebar (must be toggled to display the sidebar)

  • Left or Right side of the page

  • Always Open disables the 'collapse' sidebar feature

  • Width 20-60% sidebar panel width options

  • Initially expanded or collapsed Sidebar Contents view

  • Include Heading 1 and/or Heading 2 in the Table of Contents options for Sidebar

 

4. Click OK to save changes.

 

If you change your mind about how you'd like the Table of Contents to display, or any other Sidebar options, just return to the dialog described above and make your changes.
