How do I use the Files feature to put an Image in SoftChalk Cloud and reference that Image in other lessons?

You can upload image files directly from within your SoftChalk Cloud account. Once you upload the file, you can reference the image file in a lesson or multiple lessons.
Upload a File into a SoftChalk Cloud account |

1. In SoftChalk Cloud, navigate to My Content > Files. |  |

3. Click on Choose Files to locate a local file or drag and drop your file. |  |
4. Click the Upload button. |  |
5. The page will refresh and return to the My Content > Files area. You’ll see each uploaded file. |  |
Reference an Image in a lesson |

2. Choose the appropriate Link Source and click Select File. |  |
3. Select the image and click OK | |
4. Add Alternative Text for the image. (required) This text is read by a screen reader. The text may also appear if the image source is broken. (optional) Add a Caption to the image. |  |
5. Choose an Alignment option and click OK. This option directs where to wrap the text. For example, a left aligned image will have text wrapped around the image on the right-side and the bottom of the image. |  |
