I have a Cloud account. I am having trouble updating my lesson using Create Online. What can I do?

Create Online will open lessons last saved in version Create 9 and higher.

You may be able to open and save using the local Create editor first. Once the lesson has been updated using the full Create editor, you can use Create Online to make edits in the web browser. 

Steps to update your Create 8 or older lesson using the local Create editor:

  1. Log into your SoftChalk Cloud account

  2. Under My Content / Lessons, click on the lesson title

  3. Under Lesson Actions, choose Edit Lesson / Edit in Create

  4. Once the lesson loads in the Create window, go to File / Save to SoftChalk Cloud

  5. NOTE: Please be sure to select the original lesson to the right under Repository. This will keep the lesson hyperlink the same.

  6. Click Save.

  7. Click OK to confirm you want to replace the existing content.

8. Click OK to close the window.
