Connections Activity

With the Connections Activity, provide a ‘prompt’ for learners to identify an item(s) from an unlimited group of items. Students will click to select items that are ‘connected’ or related to the ‘prompt.’ See an online example.

Things to know

Activity title character limit: 50

Activity instruction character limit: 500

Number of activity cards: An unlimited number of cards can be created.

A vertical scrollbar appears after 10 cards.

Activity image best practice:
Images with no or limited text work best.

Portrait:

  • 107 x 156 no label 
    107 x 134 with label

Landscape:

  • 134 x 107 with/without label

Tips

  1. Portrait images with no or limited text work best.

  2. Use wide images with text and use tall images for only image cards.

  3. Images at 800 pixel height and 600 pixel width work best.

  4. A wide image will allow more text space below the image for short, well formatted text to fit in the card
