Word Search Activity

The Word Search activity lets you pick out words in a grid. If you want to introduce difficult terms, this would be a good activity for an initial exposure to the terms.

Things to know

Activity title:

Up to 35 characters look best (50 max)

Activity instruction:

Up to 50 characters look best (500 max)

Square Size and Number of Words:

20 square size for up to 16 words can be created.

16 square size for up to 12 words looks best.

The square size determines the maximum number and word length allowed in the activity.

Word length:

Maximum word length equals square size minus 1.

Create a Word Search Activity

Build the Activity

Set the Square size using the drop-down menu.
Click + to create a new word.
Or Import a text list (optional).

Type a word.
Repeat STEPS 2-3 until all
words have been entered for
the Word Search.
When finished, click OK.
The Word Search Activity placeholder will appear in the lesson.
Preview the lesson changes.
