Character limits:

Unlimited text can be added to the cards.

Up to 85 characters fit the left card comfortably without needing magnification.

Up to 250 characters fit the right card comfortably without needing magnification.

1. Set the Square size using the
   dropdown menu.
   The Square size
   determines the maximum
   number and length of
   words allowed in the activity.

2. Click to create a new
   word.
   Or Import a text list
   (optional).
   For instructions on importing
   and exporting text lists, see
   the section Import and
   Export Text Lists.

3. Type a word.
   Maximum word length equals
   Square size -1.
   Click the trash can icon to
   delete the word.

4. Repeat STEPS 2-3 until all
   words have been entered for
   the Word Search.

5. Enable Show hint if you
   want students to be able to
   click on a word listed to
   reveal a location hint of the
   word within the puzzle.

6. When finished, click OK.
   The Word Search Activity placeholder will appear in the lesson. Set the Square size using the
   dropdown menu.

12. Click OK to insert the
    activity into the lesson

13. Preview the lesson changes.

When Show Hints is enabled, learners can click on the word and the first letter of the word will highlight in the puzzle.

When Show Hints is disabled, learners must find the word in the puzzle.
